Finance and Accounting Manager

Metro Manila Hybrid Monday to Friday

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting regulatory compliance budgeting and operational finance functions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records strengthening internal controls and supporting strategic financial decision-making within the insurance business.

• Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate and timely financial reports
• Manage budgeting forecasting and variance analysis to support business planning
• Supervise general accounting operations including bank reconciliation billing and journal entries
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Lead and coordinate internal and external financial audits
• Strengthen internal controls and recommend process improvements for operational efficiency
• Monitor operational costs and provide financial analysis to management
• Handle reinsurance accounting and related financial transactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in implementing financial policies and procedures
• Support senior leadership in strategic financial planning and risk management initiatives

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
• CPA designation is preferred
• Proven experience in financial reporting budgeting and compliance
• Strong background in audit internal controls and risk assessment
• Experience in the insurance industry preferably non-life insurance is an advantage
• Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
