External Audit Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage external audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Supervise mentor and provide guidance to audit staff and senior associates.
• Review audit workpapers financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships serving as the primary point of contact.
• Ensure audits are completed on time within budget and in accordance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Identify and communicate key risks control weaknesses and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Support business development activities by assisting with proposals and client presentations.
• Stay up to date on accounting auditing and regulatory developments.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.

Experience:

• Minimum 67 years of external audit experience including audits across various industries.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.

Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
• Excellent leadership communication and client management skills.
• Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
