Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven External Audit Manager to lead audit engagements manage client relationships and oversee audit teams within a professional services firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services providing strategic insights to clients and supporting the development of team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan lead and oversee multiple external audit engagements from start to completion
• Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders
• Review financial statements audit documentation and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Identify audit risks evaluate internal controls and provide value-added recommendations
• Supervise mentor and develop senior and junior audit team members
• Monitor engagement progress budgets and timelines ensuring efficient delivery
• Report to senior leadership on engagement status issues and key findings
• Ensure compliance with auditing standards firm policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
• Minimum of 58 years of relevant external audit experience
• Proven experience managing audit engagements and leading teams
• Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in reviewing and finalizing audit reports and deliverables
• Excellent leadership analytical and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
