Events Manager Socials

• Plans and delivers luxury social events from initial consultation through execution and post-event follow-up including proposals contracts timelines floor plans and Banquet Event Orders.
• Handles the client experience by acting as the main point of contact personalizing events accommodating cultural and dietary needs and handling special requests or service recovery professionally.
• Coordinates with hotel departments and external suppliers to execute menus décor entertainment accommodation transportation technical requirements setup service and breakdown.
• Drives revenue and ensure compliance by maximizing upselling opportunities monitoring budgets and billing maintaining brand and safety standards and developing repeat and referral business.

Qualifications :

• Graduate of a degree in Hospitality Management or any related field is an advantage.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in events at a similar capacity in a luxury hotel is an asset.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate train and supervise a team of employees.
• Experience with Opera and Microsoft Office applications.
