Job Summary
This is a remote position.
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for commercial fit-out and interior construction projects.
- Complete detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and construction drawings.
- Analyse wall and ceiling systems to determine material quantities.
- Review and mark up architectural drawings to identify project scope and measurement requirements.
- Provide accurate take-off information to support the tendering process.
- Ensure all quantity measurements are accurate complete and delivered within project deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal team members when clarification on drawings or project scope is required.
- Maintain organized documentation of take-offs and BOQs for project records.
- Previous experience estimating or performing quantity take-offs for Australian commercial fit-out and interior construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Strong ability to interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Experience analysing wall and ceiling systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Australian clients and Australian hours (giving you great experience and an early finish!)

Required Skills:
Advanced proficiency in quantity takeoffs estimating and reporting. Strong experience in construction management software for document control and project tracking. Proven capability in construction-specific estimating and accounting functions. High proficiency in Excel (for data analysis/exporting) Word (for professional specifications) and Outlook (for project correspondence). Proven experience in an Estimator or Project Administrator role within the Australian construction industry preferably with exposure to luxury residential or commercial sectors. Strong understanding of Australian building codes and construction methods. Exceptional mathematical literacy and organizational skills with a perfectionist eye for detail. Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Certificate IV in Building Project Support/Estimating or Construction Management) are highly regarded.
