Job Summary

About the role:

  • The Process Engineer supports manufacturing operations through the development optimization and implementation of Die Attach/Clip Attach (DACA) processes. This role enhances process capability drives cost and quality improvements supports new product introduction and provides technical leadership to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.

What you will do:

  • Develop new processes to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness for assigned stations.
  • Qualify and release new equipment platforms or process technologies.
  • Conduct machine and process capability studies; analyze data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implement process improvement strategies using DOE SPC and other statistical methods.
  • Prioritize and execute process and quality improvement projects based on business needs.
  • Update and maintain process documentation such as FMEA OCAP control plans and work instructions.
  • Support NPI activities customer product qualifications and sample builds.
  • Prepare technical reports evaluation summaries and customer-required 8D reports.
  • Support internal customer and certification audits as needed.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Equipment Engineering Quality NPI and R&D teams to achieve project goals.
  • Share best practices breakthroughs and lessons learned with cross-site engineering teams.

What you will need:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Electronics Engineering Mechatronics Engineering Materials Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Process Engineering or NPI within semiconductor assembly.
  • Experience in Die Attach/Clip Attach; exposure to Solder Dispense Solder Print and Reflow is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and statistical tools (SAS JMP Minitab).
  • Strong knowledge of SPC DOE FMEA DFM and structured problem-solving.
  • Understanding of basic project management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
