Role description: Managing the endpoint asset life cycle including delivery of the PC Refresh programme deployment recovery redeployment and disposal

Collaboration:
- Engages and supports Digital Locations and wider technology functions to ensure consistent endpoint lifecycle processes
- Contributes to the endpoint asset toolset strategy and its integration with security change and configuration management
- Works with LSO Managers and the Regional Engineering Director to support local asset management moving remote-capable activity to the GSSC team
Endpoint Asset Management:
- Monitors and audits endpoint asset records in the CMDB so data quality meets agreed levels for control risk decisions and regulatory requirements
- Assets managed include laptops desktops peripherals accessories and associated software licences and warranties.
- Operates the Endpoint Asset Lifecycle Management Procedure leading a team of Asset Management Analysts and driving continual improvement
- Provides governance reporting on lifecycle status and data quality raising exceptions with LSO managers
Operational Excellence:
- Controls endpoint assets acquisition storage distribution movement and secure disposal with a team of Asset Management Analysts
- Manage the PC Refresh programme
- Manage device recovery including leavers replacement repair and refresh protecting stock levels re-use and data security
- Contributes to PC Refresh budget planning and adherence
Key shared accountabilities:
- Delivery of endpoint services across Digital Locations
- Collaborate with other Towers Lanes and teams to achieve goals and exceed business expectations
- Decision-making about the purchase re-use retirement and disposal of endpoint assets
- Maximising the value from endpoint assets
Qualifications & Experience:
- IT professional with 5 years asset or endpoint management experience within a multinational engineering or professional services.
- Demonstrate significant leadership capability and the ability to inspire multi-disciplinary high-performing teams around a common purpose.
- Demonstrates significant collaboration capability to influence stakeholders develop and manage processes mitigate risks and control quality to achieve positive outcomes.
