Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Prepare comprehensive residential and commercial architectural documentation for Australian projects.
Produce Planning Permit/Council Approval drawing packages and Construction Drawing Packages suitable for building permits and construction.
Develop detailed plans elevations sections schedules and construction details in accordance with project requirements and Australian standards.
Ensure documentation is accurate coordinated and compliant with relevant building regulations and codes.
Create maintain and update detailed BIM models using Revit.
Translate design concepts into high-quality technical drawings and construction documentation.
Incorporate design revisions and consultant feedback into project models and documentation.
Maintain documentation consistency and quality throughout all project stages.
Coordinate documentation with structural engineers town planners building surveyors energy assessors and other consultants.
Model existing site conditions from survey information sketches and site measurements where required.
Produce high-quality 3D visualizations and renders using Twinmotion Enscape Lumion or similar software.
Support project teams in resolving design and documentation issues.

Requirements

Previous employment with an Australian building design architectural or drafting firm.
Minimum 3 years experience producing residential and commercial architectural documentation for Australian projects.
Advanced proficiency in Revit including BIM modelling and documentation.
Demonstrated ability to independently prepare Planning Permit/Council Approval drawing packages and Construction Drawing Packages.
Strong understanding of Australian building standards documentation practices and construction methodologies.
Proficiency in Twinmotion Enscape Lumion or similar 3D visualisation/rendering software.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
