Were looking for a Director Compliance & Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer (AMLCO) to join our ever-evolving Compliance Team and help shape the future of global this highly visible leadership role you will safeguard the integrity of our business strengthen trust with regulators clients and partners and help ensure Global Payments continues to grow responsibly in an increasingly complex regulatory environment. You will play a critical role in protecting the organization from financial crime risks enabling strategic business initiatives and fostering a culture of compliance that supports innovation while maintaining the highest standards of governance. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership and regulatory authorities your influence will directly contribute to the long-term success of Global Payments and its mission to power secure and seamless commerce worldwide.

    What youll own:

    • Lead the compliance and financial crime strategy to protect the business strengthen regulatory confidence and ensure sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving payments environment.
    • Drive regulatory excellence by proactively identifying emerging compliance risks influencing business decisions and ensuring adherence to Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) and other applicable regulatory requirements.
    • Strengthen the control environment by enhancing compliance anti-money laundering sanctions and fraud prevention frameworks that mitigate risk and support business objectives.
    • Influence strategic business initiatives by providing trusted guidance on new products partnerships and growth opportunities while balancing innovation with regulatory expectations.
    • Champion a culture of accountability and ethical conduct that empowers colleagues strengthens governance practices and reinforces confidence across clients regulators and stakeholders.

    What youll bring:

    • Extensive experience leading compliance anti-money laundering risk management or regulatory programs within banking payments fintech merchant acquiring or financial services organizations.
    • Deep knowledge of BSP regulations Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) requirements AMLC regulations sanctions compliance and financial crime risk management.
    • Proven success partnering with senior leaders and regulators to navigate complex regulatory requirements and drive effective risk-based decisions.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence mentor and develop teams while fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
    • Exceptional analytical communication and decision-making capabilities with experience managing complex compliance matters and regulatory engagements.

    ts a bonus if you have:

    • Professional certifications such as Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) International Compliance Association (ICA) Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or equivalent credentials.
    • Experience supporting compliance programs within multinational or global financial services organizations.
    • Advanced expertise in payments merchant acquiring digital financial services or emerging regulatory frameworks impacting the payments industry.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Law Finance Accounting Business Risk Management or a related discipline.
    • Willingness to work onsite as needed at Vertis North Quezon City.
    • Demonstrated experience serving as a key liaison with financial regulators and government agencies.
