A manufacturing company based that makes glass and window testing meters.

We are seeking a versatile jack-of-all-trades candidate who operates at the intersection of e-commerce web maintenance search optimization and ad infrastructure. Our primary e-commerce site runs on OpenCartwe prefer someone with prior OpenCart experience or strong WordPress experience who can easily adapt to make backend SEO changes.

In this role you will make technical backend SEO edits optimize content for traditional search engines and AI tools (ChatGPT Perplexity Google AI Overviews) connect internal web infrastructure with advertising platforms like Google Ads and monitor ad performance. We view this as a long-term position and are looking for someone eager to stay and grow with our team for 2 years.

• Backend SEO & E-Commerce Maintenance: Execute backend SEO adjustments schema implementation page speed optimizations and basic HTML/CSS tweaks directly on OpenCart (and secondary WordPress sites) to improve indexing and crawlability.
• Ad Infrastructure & Monitoring: Connect internal web infrastructure to paid advertising platforms (Google Ads Google Tag Manager analytics conversion pixels) and monitor ongoing Google Ads campaign performance.
• AEO & AI Search Strategy: Optimize content and technical structures to ensure our brand and client sites get cited when users query conversational AI engines (ChatGPT Perplexity Google AI Overviews).
• Local SEO Management: Set up and optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP) and local citations to drive local map-pack rankings.

• Preference for hands-on experience with OpenCart (or a strong WordPress background with the ability and willingness to quickly learn OpenCart backend management).
• 2 years implementing backend SEO fixes schema markup site architecture updates and Core Web Vitals optimization.
• Demonstrated capability connecting web platforms to Google Ads setting up tracking infrastructure and monitoring active ad performance.
• Hands-on experience or a strong active interest in AEO/GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
• Familiarity with Google Business Profile optimization for trade services.
