Data Architect

Data Architect

Hands-On Data Engineering & Platform Leadership

We dont need someone who just knows how a data warehouse should work.

We need someone whos actually built one.

Someone who can open the code trace the data understand whats broken and know what needs fixing.

Someone whos worked hands-on with Azure Data Lake data warehousing and Medallion Architecture (Bronze Silver Gold).

Our architecture already exists.

Your job is to find whats missing fix what isnt working and make the entire thing reliable.

You need to be able to do two things exceptionally well.

Understand the business.
Take a high-level problem challenge what doesnt make sense and translate it into something engineers can actually build.

Understand the engineering.
Get into the code understand the technical details make the right architectural decisions and explain them to someone who doesnt write code.

Youll lead a small team of Data Engineers and a Data Analyst but this is not a role where you simply delegate the technical work.

Qualifications :

You probably wont thrive here if:
Your recent experience is mostly management or advisory work.
You can design architecture but havent built or debugged it yourself.
You need detailed technical instructions before you can act.
You can explain the technology but not why it matters to the business.
You think your responsibility ends when the data reaches the warehouse.

What success looks like
 Every source connects.
 Every layer works.
Every team gets the data it needs.
 The numbers match.
And AI can trust whats underneath.

When someone asks Can we trust this data The answer is yes.
