What youd be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think thats all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things youll be working on when you start but this will likely evolve. At the moment this role is focused on:

• Developing content plans and prescribing learning assessments based on the PH K-12 curriculum forming the foundation of new Canva templates for Filipino classrooms
• Initiating and reviewing creative briefs for new educational elements (illustrations photos videos) to ensure topic relevance and grade-level appropriateness
• Evaluating educational resources including templates AI-generated content and multimedia for curriculum accuracy pedagogical effectiveness and learning flow
• Translating those evaluations into strategic actionable insights to support the teams content goals
• Mapping PH K-12 curriculum standards (DepEd MATATAG K-10 and Strengthened SHS Grades 1112) to existing and needed resources via gap analysis
• Identifying priorities for new content creation across grade levels and subjects

Youre probably a match if

• You have hands-on teaching experience in K-12 and understand what effective learning looks like from inside the classroom
• You hold a degree in Education (preferred) majoring in a relevant subject or have a degree directly relevant to your subject area
• Youve created curriculum-aligned content outside your own classroom whether thats modules textbooks instructional videos or Canva templates
• You have an excellent grasp of both English and Filipino and a knack for crafting engaging pedagogically sound copy
• Youre genuinely curious about how AI can support educational content development
• You can follow a project brief closely proactively clarify details and turn research into polished on-brand template copy
