About the Job

Our esteemed client a dynamic organization in the operations space is looking for a Client Support Purchasing. You will assist Purchasers with monitoring and tracking orders as well as maintaining good relationships with suppliers ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of supplies and equipment based on the organizations needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbox Management: Manage the Domestic Purchasing inbox ensuring timely response and proper routing of all purchase-related inquiries.
  • Internal Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments regarding Purchase Order ETAs pricing changes and other procurement concerns.
  • Supplier Liaison: Liaise with suppliers to confirm PO ETAs and conduct consistent follow-ups to ensure on-time delivery.
  • PO Tracking: Maintain and update the Domestic PO Tracker ensuring accurate visibility of PO statuses and delivery timelines.
  • Documentation Support: Collect and consolidate Proof of Delivery (POD) tracking information and invoices to support warehouse receipt processing.
  • Issue Resolution: Coordinate with suppliers regarding damaged short or incorrect goods received and facilitate requests for credit notes or replacements.
  • PO Collection: Request and coordinate Purchase Order collections with internal teams as required.
  • Ticket Management: Manage purchasing tickets related to domestic PO ETAs and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • System Updates: Process system pricing and quantity updates for approved variances.
  • SAP Setup: Set up down payment requirements in SAP for applicable purchase orders.
  • Outbound Calls: Handle outbound calls to suppliers for immediate resolutions (TBC).
  • Daily Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by the team to support procurement and operational requirements.

Qualifications

  • Education: Relevant academic qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in purchasing.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of inventory and supply chain management; proficiency in MS Office and other related software.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills strong critical thinking and negotiation skills and an organized systematic approach to work.
  • Language: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
