ACCIONA Construction is looking for an Caisson Construction Manager to be based in the Philippines. The role will be key to ensuring the proper planning coordination and execution of offshore caisson construction works in line with project needs technical specifications safety standards and operational requirements.

Job Description:

The Caisson Construction Manager will be responsible for the planning coordination and execution of all caisson construction activities covering onshore construction construction works in floating conditions offshore towing temporary mooring transport to final position installation and final construction phases at the site.

The role will ensure that all works are carried out safely efficiently and in compliance with project schedule design specifications quality standards and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage caisson construction activities across all phases.

  • Supervise onshore construction construction in floating conditions offshore towing temporary mooring and final installation operations.

  • Coordinate resources materials equipment and manpower.

  • Monitor progress and implement mitigation actions when needed.

  • Coordinate with design engineering quality and HSE teams.

  • Ensure effective communication between all stakeholders involved in the caisson works.

  • Coordination with key subcontractors depending on the selected construction approach specially with semisubmersible vessel anchoring vessels and installation subcontractor.

  • Identify critical construction and marine operation risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.

  • Ensure compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) quality procedures and hold points.

  • Ensure compliance with construction sequencing safety and environmental standards.

Required Skills and Competencies

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Minimum 20 years of overall professional experience.

  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar role within marine bridge construction projects.

  • Strong technical knowledge of marine foundations caisson construction marine operations dredging works towing immersion ballast control and heavy lifting activities.

  • Proven experience managing construction teams subcontractors equipment and resources in complex marine/offshore environments.

  • Strong planning coordination and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and team leadership skills.

  • Professional level of English required.
