Job Summary

The BD Officer will be responsible for end-to-end site acquisition including site mapping assessment negotiation site documentation landowner/lessor relationship management and feasibility studies for potential store locations. You will also build and maintain relationships with property owners and managers in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently secure and recommend new market opportunities and profitable sites for store expansion.
  • Analyze financial data such as past and current financial reports and develop strategies to cut costs and boost revenue.
  • Prepare and manage the business development budget track expenses and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Communicate and negotiate with lessors regarding lease terms rent-free periods rent concessions and other contract or lease-related concerns.
  • Draft and execute renewal contracts contract amendments mutual releases quitclaims and waivers.
  • Consolidate manage and maintain lease data to ensure accurate and efficient data management.
  • Conduct market research and site assessments including feasibility studies to identify suitable locations for new stores.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners landlords and real estate brokers to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure all documentation and contracts adhere to company policies and legal standards.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of working experience in site acquisition site development network expansion or property and asset management.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with experience working with GIS systems.
  • Effective negotiation skills and proven experience in managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication organizational and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local real estate land development and zoning regulations is preferred.
  • Flexibility and willingness to do fieldwork.
  • Willingness to report to the head office as needed.
