About the Role:We are seeking a meticulous process-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper & Finance Operations Specialist to take ownership of daily financial administration transaction cleanup and compliance reporting. Reporting directly to the COO this candidate will fix historical data entry errors build automated workflows in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and RAMP and establish proper financial hygiene to free up executive bandwidth.
Key Responsibilities:
- QuickBooks Online & Transaction Management: Categorize reconcile and audit daily/weekly transactions within QBO. Maintain bank feeds establish robust rules and correct historic miscategorizations.
- Spend & Receipt Management: Monitor and reconcile RAMP expenses ensuring proper receipt collection spend matching and category accuracy.
- Compliance & Audit Prep: Prepare supporting documentation for annual Workers Comp audits compile payroll summary reports log loan entries and fixed assets and track Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
- Process Infrastructure: Implement scalable QBO rules transaction templates and document filing structures to streamline ongoing financial operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3 years proven track record as a Bookkeeper or Finance Specialist with deep expertise in QuickBooks Online (QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred).
- Hands-on experience with spend management tools (RAMP preferred) and digital filing systems.
- Solid understanding of compliance documentation (payroll reports COIs asset/loan entries Workers Comp audits).
- Strong attention to detail with an advisory mindset focused on process improvement and automated cleanup.
- High level of integrity and comfort handling sensitive financial records.
