Job Description: BigFix Administrator / Engineer

We are seeking a BigFix Administrator/Engineer to manage secure and optimize enterprise endpoint environments using the HCL BigFix platform. The role will focus on endpoint discovery patch management software deployment vulnerability remediation compliance automation and operational support. HCL BigFix is used to manage and remediate on-premises cloud virtual and remote endpoints across diverse operating systems.

• Administer and maintain the BigFix platform including servers relays agents consoles and content libraries.
• Develop test and deploy Fixlets Tasks Baselines Analyses Actions and custom content.
• Plan and execute operating-system and third-party application patching.
• Monitor endpoint health agent connectivity relay performance and deployment status.
• Automate software distribution configuration changes remediation and compliance activities.
• Identify and remediate endpoint vulnerabilities in coordination with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams.
• Create dashboards and reports for patch compliance asset inventory vulnerability status and service-level objectives.
• Troubleshoot failed deployments client issues relay communication and performance problems.
• Support audit and regulatory requirements through continuous compliance monitoring.
• Maintain technical documentation operating procedures change records and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with Windows Linux network security cloud and service-desk teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Cybersecurity or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3 years of experience administering or supporting HCL BigFix.
• Experience with enterprise patch management endpoint security software deployment and vulnerability remediation.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency with SQL REST APIs PowerShell Bash or similar automation tools.
• Experience troubleshooting BigFix agents relays actions Fixlets and deployment failures.
• Understanding of cybersecurity controls vulnerability-management processes and change-management practices.
• Strong analytical documentation communication and incident-resolution skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• HCL BigFix certification or formal BigFix training.
• Experience with BigFix Compliance Inventory Lifecycle or SaaS.
• Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks DISA STIGs NIST HIPAA PCI DSS or similar frameworks.
