Responsible for producing quotation documents with internal tools consisting of pricing concept drawing presentation material and other supporting sales process. Provide technical leadership and direction for projects in the quotation charge to deliver the required quotation services within the given time and required quality while ensuring compliance with Bühler related directives and EHS standards.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing automation quotations using Bühler internal tools standards and quotation processes.
Clarifies automation requirements with internal project sales teams and where required directly with customers.
Performs technical and commercial analysis of customer requirements in close alignment with the sales manager.
Develops project-specific plant automation concepts based on customer requirements project scope technical feasibility and Bühler solution standards.
Collaborates with sales technology engineering commercial services mechanical engineers and automation specialists to develop competitive and high-quality quotations.
Ensures technical and commercial ownership of assigned quotations including scope assumptions risks exclusions and deliverables.
Provides timely responses to internal technical questions and supports clarification of technical issues during the quotation phase.
Proactively follows up on submitted quotation documents with internal stakeholders or customers to support the sales process.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Automation Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering or any related Engineering degree
Minimum of 23 years of experience in an engineering role preferably in quotation project or technical sales engineering
Experience in industrial automation
Demonstrated ability to manage technical and commercial aspects of quotations
Experience in layout preparation technical concept development and customer-facing discussions
Proficiency in the English language
