AU Migration Assistant Paralegal 100 WFH
Job Summary
- Assisting the immigration team with file management day to day enquiries document collection and drafting visa and related applications.
- Follow up with clients to obtain correct or additional documents and information as directed by the supervising Migration Agent or Lawyer
- Carry out legal research as directed
- Maintain internal databases to ensure client records and information are up to date and accurate
- Assist with booking appointments scheduling meetings and other ad-hoc client matters
- Assist in the preparation of other supporting documents such as submissions formatting of documents etc.
- Maintain and update templates and contribute to continuous improvement activities to enhance the client experience
- Be available to work 40 hours per week over 5 days (flexible scheduling available with majority of hours between 9:00am - 5:30pm ACST)
- Have a dedicated space to work from (100% work-from-home)
- Have suitable ancillary equipment (e.g. second monitor and peripherals) - Laptop provided
- Have reliable internet and electricity connections (and suitable back-ups)
- Law degree (highly regarded) or a tertiary Paralegal qualification (or extensive relevant experience in lieu of qualification)
- >2 years experience in Australian migration processes and law (highly desirable)
- Excellent English (both written and verbal)
- Strong MS Office suite skills and experience
- Strong Adobe suite skills and experience
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Highly organised and proactive

Required Skills:
