What youll do

Youll be a hands-on contributor in our firm providing end-to-end bookkeeping payroll reporting and compliance services to our clients owning outcomes and working alongside experienced and supportive professionals.

• Assist with the delivery of bookkeeping and compliance services to our range of international clients who have recently expanded their businesses into Australia
  

• Provide general support to our business formation and compliance business division which services the accounting and legal professions across Australia.
  

• Reviews and oversees the work of junior bookkeepers ensuring accuracy quality and compliance with standards (essential for Senior Bookkeeper role)
  

• Organisational compliance with tax regulations requirements standards and other guidance.
  

• Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS returns
  

• Bookkeeping (Xero Quickbooks Netsuite others)
  

• Payroll preparation
  

Requirements

You are someone who is not only technically strong but also driven accountable adaptable and client-focused. Youll thrive in our environment if you bring a positive pro-active/ can-do attitude and a continuous improvement mindset. You have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business/Accounting (CPA highly regarded but not essential)
  

• Xero certification (preferred)
  

• Minimum 5 years experience with Australian bookkeeping and tax (GST BAS IAS etc.)
  

• Practical experience in AP AR payroll and management reporting
  

• Strong time management and attention to detail
  

• Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal)
  

• A positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn from colleagues
