We are seeking an experiencedTrade Compliance Associateto support our global export import and dangerous goods operations. This role ensures compliance with international trade regulations and works closely with crossfunctional teams including Logistics Legal Customer Service and Supply Chain.
This position is suited for professionals with handson experience intrade compliance customs administration or regulatory processing.
Key Responsibilities
Export Order Screening and Management :
- Perform RPL/SPL screening in multiple ERP systems for US export transactions and Customer database screening results.
- Constantly monitor multiple ERP systems for export orders on RPL/SPL hold andresolve as quickly as possible.
- Review each potential match using legal citations and via analysis of the data todetermine whether party is a true match.
- Release orders that are in compliance with applicable regulations and companypolicy or escalate orders or business partners for further review.
- Provide timely updates to the appropriate business units with order status andaction.
- Monitor and follow up until order can be released in compliance with the
US Export Administration Regulations:
- Follow screening guidelines and adhere to cutoff schedules.
- Maintain documentation of all escalation and communication supporting the release of a transaction.
- Update of the customer data base following any changes to the sanctioned anddenied parties list.
- Manage compliance mailbox supporting requests for review and release of export shipments on RPL hold.
- Provide timely updates to the US Trade Compliance Team on shipment relatedissues.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Business Customs Administration Supply Chain or related course
With 6mos to 1 year experience in logistics preferably in a global logistics industry
Working knowledge of export/import compliance processes and regulations
Proficient in MS Outlook and Microsoft Excel
Good verbal and written English communication skills
Willing to work night shift (US time zone)
Willing to comply with 10 returntooffice days per month
