Architect / CAD Operator
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and construction drawing interpretation.
- Experience in quantity takeoff bid preparation and leveling sheets.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and analyze construction plans.
- Experience supporting General Contractor (GC) operations is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Review architectural and construction plans for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and material estimates from project drawings.
- Create and maintain bid leveling sheets for subcontractor and supplier comparisons.
- Assist in bidding and pre-construction activities.
- Produce and revise CAD drawings as required.
- Coordinate with estimators project managers and vendors to support project planning and execution.
- Ensure all project documentation is organized and up to date.
