Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architect Hospitality Development & Projects to support the design development renovation conversion and expansion of our hospitality portfolio. The role will work across hotels hostels resorts restaurants bars cafés and other hospitality properties taking projects from initial concept and space planning through design development technical documentation construction coordination and project completion. The ideal candidate combines strong architectural design and technical skills with practical knowledge of hospitality operations guest experience commercial space planning and construction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and design solutions for hotels hostels resorts restaurants bars cafés and F&B outlets
• Translate business and operational requirements into functional efficient and commercially viable spaces
• Develop concept design schematic design design development and construction documentation
• Plan guest-facing and back-of-house areas including guestrooms reception lobby restaurants bars kitchens staff areas offices and service spaces
• Ensure designs support guest experience operational efficiency brand standards revenue generation and long-term asset value
• Support the evaluation and architectural planning of existing properties for hotel hostel resort and restaurant conversion
• Develop renovation refurbishment adaptive reuse and repositioning concepts
• Conduct site surveys and assess existing building conditions
• Prepare and review architectural drawings floor plans elevations sections details specifications and construction documents
• Coordinate with contractors consultants suppliers project managers and internal stakeholders

About you

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related field
• Professional architectural license/registration where required by local regulations
• 37 years of architectural experience depending on seniority
• Previous experience in hospitality architecture hotel design hostel design resort development restaurant design F&B design or commercial projects
• Strong portfolio demonstrating architectural design and project delivery
• Experience working across concept design through construction documentation and site coordination
• Strong knowledge of building codes planning regulations fire & life safety accessibility and construction standards
• Experience with AutoCAD Revit SketchUp BIM Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent architectural software
• Strong understanding of construction methods materials detailing and technical documentation
• Excellent project coordination and communication skills
