AI Engineers

What You Will Do

• Build deploy and iterate on AI agents using Salesforce Agentforce LLM APIs and related AI tooling
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines that connect AI agents to the knowledge base
• Integrate AI agents with CRM and support platforms including Salesforce Zendesk and AWS Connect
• Debug AI behavior diagnose hallucinations retrieval failures incorrect escalations and poor resolution rates
• Collaborate with the AI Support Architect to implement orchestration and agent behavior designs
• Work with Knowledge Engineers to test that AI retrieves the right knowledge for specific customer queries
• Write clean maintainable code and contribute to AI system documentation
• Participate in evaluation cycles: running test cases measuring AI accuracy and flagging regressions
• Stay current with LLM developments new AI tooling and emerging best practices for AI in customer support

What We Are Looking For

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 3 years of software engineering experience with at least 12 years working on AI or ML systems
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI Anthropic Cohere etc.) and prompt engineering
• Experience implementing RAG architectures using vector databases (e.g. Pinecone Weaviate pgvector)
• Proficiency in Python and/or for AI system development
• Experience with API integrations in complex multi-system environments
• Familiarity with Salesforce Zendesk or AWS Connect is a strong advantage

Skills & Competencies

• LLM integration: building production-grade AI pipelines using LLM APIs and prompt engineering
• RAG systems: designing and implementing retrieval-augmented generation with vector databases
• Python / : writing clean testable code for AI agents and integrations
• API and system integration: connecting AI agents to CRM support and communication platforms
• Debugging: diagnosing and resolving AI behavior failures across retrieval reasoning and response quality
• Collaboration: working closely with AI architects knowledge engineers and platform teams
