As a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist you will play a key role in building the talent pipelines that power our operations and support our continued growth across the Americas. Your market insights research capabilities and ability to engage exceptional talent will help connect people with opportunities across diverse business functions critical skill areas and leadership levels.
Youll work in close partnership with Recruiters Hiring Managers and business leaders using talent intelligence and innovative sourcing strategies to solve complex hiring challenges and connect great people with meaningful careers at Weir.
What youll do
Build Talent Pipelines: Proactively develop and maintain diverse talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs with a focus on business-critical and hard-to-fill roles.
Source and Engage Talent: Identify attract and engage qualified and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter Workday social media referrals professional networks market mapping and other sourcing channels.
Talent Mapping and Market Intelligence: Conduct talent research and market analysis to identify talent pools hiring trends and sourcing opportunities that support effective talent acquisition strategies.
Screen and Assess Candidates: Evaluate candidate qualifications experience and potential fit for current vacancies and future talent pipeline opportunities.
Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with Recruiters Hiring Managers and other key stakeholders to understand hiring needs align sourcing strategies and provide market insights that support talent acquisition decisions.
Deliver an Exceptional Candidate Experience: Build meaningful relationships with candidates through personalized outreach timely communication and a candidate-centric approach while promoting Weirs employer brand.
Promote Inclusion and Diversity: Support Weirs Inclusion Diversity & Equity initiatives by proactively identifying and engaging diverse talent pools.
Leverage Technology and Innovation: Utilize sourcing tools talent analytics LinkedIn Recruiter Workday and AI-enabled technologies to enhance sourcing effectiveness and pipeline quality.

What youll bring
Must-haves
Bachelors degree in Psychology Human Resources or a related discipline.
Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish both written and verbal.
Proven experience in candidate sourcing across a wide range of functions and career levels including blue-collar skilled trades professional technical and leadership roles.
Strong understanding of talent acquisition challenges and talent market dynamics within mining engineering manufacturing or other industrial sectors.
Experience sourcing talent across LATAM with exposure to recruiting or sourcing activities in North American markets (United States and Canada).
Strong expertise leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter Boolean search techniques search engines job boards social media platforms and other sourcing tools to identify engage and build pipelines of qualified talent.
Demonstrated experience in talent mapping market research and proactive sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and business-critical roles.
Strong capability in crafting compelling candidate-centric outreach messaging and engaging passive talent.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with the ability to partner effectively with Recruiters Hiring Managers and business leaders.
Ability to leverage talent intelligence market insights and data-driven recommendations to support sourcing strategies and hiring decisions.
Nice-to-haves
Experience sourcing talent within Mining Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Technical Sales Sales or other technical and commercial environments.
Familiarity with Workday and Microsoft 365 applications (Excel Outlook Word).
Experience leveraging AI-enabled sourcing and recruitment technologies.
