Senior Solutions Architect, AGS-NOLA-SA BOPE

AWS is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in Lima-Peru working with enterprise customers across the full breadth of their cloud journey. Youll help customers migrate to the cloud modernize legacy applications and databases build cloud-native solutions and explore how Generative AI and Agentic AI can drive their business forward.

Youll partner hands-on with customers turning ideas into working prototypes and production-ready architectures. Youll be part of an AWS Solutions Architecture team that works with enterprise customers across industries helping them adopt cloud modernize their technology adopt AI and build for the future. Key job responsibilities
- Partner with enterprise customers to design build and implement solutions across cloud adoption migration modernization and new workloads
- Work hands-on with customer teams building prototypes proofs of concept and production-ready architectures together
- Assess legacy applications and databases and co-create practical modernization roadmaps that reduce technical debt and enable innovation
- Guide customers through cloud migrations helping them move workloads efficiently and securely
- Help customers explore how AI and emerging technologies can enhance their applications operations and customer experiences

A day in the life
You might start your morning reviewing a customers existing architecture ahead of a design workshop then jump into a whiteboarding session where you collaborate with their engineering team to map out a migration path. After lunch you could be building a working prototype that demonstrates how a serverless approach simplifies their current workflow. Later you share findings with your SA peers exchange ideas on a tricky modernization pattern and wrap up by preparing a brief for a customer executive on the business impact of the proposed solution.

- 3 years of design implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 8 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development cloud computing systems engineering infrastructure security networking data & analytics) experience
- Experience leading complex technical initiatives involving cross-functional collaboration with strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Understanding of common architectural patterns and cloud-native design principles
- Speak write and read fluently in English

- 5 years of infrastructure architecture database architecture and networking experience
- Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
