Global Pricing Performance Manager (Individual Contributor)
About the Role The Pricing Insights Analyst turns pricing data into insight and recommendations. Through exploratory data analysis statistical methods and data-science techniques the role uncovers patterns and opportunities that inform how pricing strategy is customized and how the pricing transformation roadmap is prioritized and supported.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Exploratory data analysis. Run exploratory analysis on governed pricing data to uncover patterns outliers and opportunities that standard reporting misses.
Insights & recommendations. Translate analysis into clear actionable recommendations for customizing pricing strategy by segment product region or channel.
Statistical & data-science modeling. Apply statistical methods and data-science techniques (e.g. regression segmentation elasticity correlation forecasting) to test hypotheses and quantify impact.
Roadmap support. Provide the analytical evidence that helps prioritize the pricing transformation roadmap and support ongoing initiatives.
Metrics & KPIs. Compute and validate pricing metrics and feed results into pricing dashboards.
Rapid analysis. Respond to ad-hoc pricing questions iterating quickly on governed data.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration Finance Economics or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 4-7 years of work experience preferably in strategic management strategic planning and implementation consulting market research or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
Preferred Certifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Knowledge & Skills
Analytics & statistics strong applied statistics and data-science skills; able to select and defend appropriate methods.
Tooling proficiency in Python or R and SQL; experience with a BI/visualization tool (e.g. Power BI).
Pricing acumen understanding of pricing levers and the ability to frame analysis around commercial questions.
Communication & storytelling able to distill complex analysis into clear executive-ready recommendations.
Data rigor works within governed data; documents assumptions and validates interpretation.
Curiosity & autonomy self-directed hypothesis-driven and effective with ambiguous problems
