What you will do as Associate Director Latin America
As an Associate Director LATAM at Haskoning you will be overseeing leading and delivering projects. You manage our internal PMs and multidisciplinary technical team. Your role will be a mix of work both in the office and on the site delivering within a team and working with our clients. You will collaborate with stakeholders identify risks and implement solutions that keep projects on track.

What you will do as Associate Director Latin America
As an Associate Director LATAM at Haskoning you will be overseeing leading and delivering projects. You manage our internal PMs and multidisciplinary technical team. You will collaborate with stakeholders identify risks and implement solutions that keep projects on track.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery Excellence
- Lead and deliver small to medium-sized multi-disciplinary projects ensuring successful outcomes aligned with client instructions and Haskoning management systems.
- Take overall responsibility for project deliverables ensuring quality timeliness profitability and client satisfaction.
- Initiate oversee and appraise studies concept design detailed design and construction documentation.
- Maintain full business control of projects including budgeting fee management rate targets cost tracking risk quality and change control.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures contract management and project administration requirements.
- Proactively manage risks and opportunities to achieve cost-effective and profitable results.
- Act as the key interface with clients authorities contractors and specialist consultants.
- Manage client instructions expectations reporting and ongoing engagement to identify opportunities and add value.
- Oversee delivery against contractual and client requirements including formal reporting and design documentation.
- Lead and coordinate our internal PMs and external multidisciplinary project teams.
- Facilitate design meetings ensure effective collaboration and oversee design reviews.
- Support the DAG and ADAG with operational coordination reporting and team alignment.
- Support and lead bid preparation and tender responses coordinating inputs from multidisciplinary teams.
- Work closely with business developers and clients to identify needs develop proposals and win new work.
- Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals aligned with client expectations.
- Develop apply and improve project and design management best practices tools and systems.
- Contribute to strengthening project management techniques across the organization.

What you bring
- Masters Graduated collegiate and qualified Civil Engineer. (mandatory)
- Licensed Peruvian Civil Engineer
- English spoken and written at Advanced (mandatory)
- PMP Certification (mandatory)
- Demonstrate experience in the development of shipyard infrastructure such as heavy docks dry docks floating docks or ship lifts (mandatory)
- 10 or more years experience developing engineering projects
- Experience in water or maritime engineering within a consultancy firm (Desirable)
- Experience working in an international multicultural and diverse environment with collaborative approach and working across sectoral and regional boundaries
- Experience with writing proposals planning and running multidisciplinary projects
- Accurate and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work on a variety of projects and manage time effectively
- Innovator at looking for solutions to problems
- Takes ownership of task delivery from start to finish asking for assistance when needed
- Ability to communicate well and share skills with colleagues
- Promotes and uses a digital way of working in execution of tasks
- Analytical thinker and strong problem solver
