As part of its ongoing mine restart and ramp-up initiatives the organization is strengthening its on-site operational support and workforce coordination capabilities.


Job Role

The Site HR & Administration Officer is a hands-on operational support role responsible for managing on-site human resources administration workforce coordination camp operations support and personnel mobilization activities within a remote mining environment. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager this role serves as the key administrative bridge between site operations and corporate HR functions.

The position requires a highly organized and disciplined professional capable of managing workforce records rotational rosters travel coordination contractor administration camp systems and day-to-day personnel operations while supporting workforce stability and operational continuity across the mine site.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate workforce mobilization activities including flight scheduling travel logistics onboarding site access processing and roster administration.
  • Manage daily workforce administration including personnel records attendance tracking payroll support documentation and contractor data management.
  • Maintain and update workforce databases HR records shift schedules and employee documentation systems.
  • Support remote camp administration including accommodation coordination catering oversight welfare monitoring and workforce support services.
  • Assist with employee relations matters disciplinary documentation incident records and workforce compliance tracking.
  • Develop and improve administrative workflows personnel tracking systems and document control procedures to support operational efficiency.
  • Prepare workforce reports manpower tracking summaries and operational HR updates for site leadership and corporate management.
  • Ensure workforce administration activities comply with company policies operational procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with operational departments to support workforce readiness and site productivity.


Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Business Administration or related operational fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR administration workforce coordination or camp administration roles.
  • Mandatory experience working within remote mining sites oil & gas camps heavy construction projects or similar industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of FIFO/rotational workforce coordination and remote camp operations.
  • Familiarity with Papua New Guinea workforce environments and employment practices is highly preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy with advanced Microsoft Office skills especially Excel and workforce database systems.
  • Experience handling workforce records roster management personnel tracking and administrative process implementation.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple operational priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support multicultural operational teams.
  • Able to work effectively within high-pressure and logistically challenging remote environments.
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory
