Electrical Manager

Cakum Global is recruiting an Electrical Manager for our client based in Lae Papua New Guinea.

Role Overview:
This is a senior technical leadership role responsible for overseeing all electrical infrastructure power generation systems and electrical projects across a large-scale agribusiness and food production operation. The successful candidate will ensure operational reliability electrical safety and the delivery of key infrastructure initiatives.

• Lead and manage all LV and HV electrical systems across multiple operational sites
• Oversee power generation infrastructure including generators backup systems and renewable energy projects
• Manage electrical CAPEX projects upgrades and facility expansions
• Drive preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and uptime
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Lead and develop a team of electrical personnel and contractors
• Support future infrastructure growth and energy efficiency initiatives

• Recognised Electrical Trade Qualification (Red Seal or equivalent)
• Electrical licence highly regarded
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience in industrial electrical operations
• Strong experience with generators switchboards distribution systems and industrial installations
• Experience managing large-scale electrical projects and maintenance programs
• Background in manufacturing food processing agriculture mining or industrial environments preferred
• Strong leadership planning and problem-solving skills

• Lead critical infrastructure across one of Papua New Guineas largest integrated agribusiness operations
• Manage major electrical projects and power generation assets
