Cakum Global is recruiting a Construction Foreman for our client based in Lae Papua New Guinea.
Role Overview: This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising and coordinating daily construction activities across a large-scale agribusiness operation. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Highlights
Lead daily construction activities across farm infrastructure warehouses utilities and civil works projects
Supervise site workers subcontractors trades and equipment operators
Coordinate project schedules resources and material requirements
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards
Conduct site inspections toolbox talks and quality control checks
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management
Support the delivery of capital projects across a growing operation
Ideal Candidate
Trade qualification in Carpentry Masonry Civil Construction or related field
Minimum 7 years construction experience including at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Strong understanding of construction methods materials and site operations
Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple workstreams
Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
Experience in agricultural industrial or infrastructure projects highly regarded
