Position: Sr. Bathymetry Surveyor
Location: Oman
Experience: 6–9 Years
Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor’s in Surveying Geomatics Hydrography Civil Engineering or related field

Job Purpose
The role involves accurate acquisition and processing of bathymetric data using advanced survey equipment while ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and mobilize surveys by reviewing project scope preparing methodologies and conducting equipment setup calibration and system checks.
* Execute bathymetric surveys using SBES MBES GNSS/RTK MRU tide gauges and sound velocity profilers while ensuring accurate data acquisition.
* Monitor real-time survey quality maintain field logs and coordinate with vessel crews and project teams.
* Process and validate survey data apply necessary corrections and generate bathymetric models contours cross-sections and volume calculations.
* Perform QA/QC checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance with project standards.
* Prepare technical reports charts GIS outputs and deliverables in required formats while maintaining proper documentation.
* Ensure adherence to HSE policies marine safety procedures and safe operation of survey equipment and vessels.

Survey Equipment: SBES / MBES Systems GNSS RTK Systems Total Stations Tide Gauges Sound Velocity Profilers IMU / MRU Sensors

Software: HYPACK QINSy EIVA CARIS AutoCAD / Civil 3D
