Show Jumping Trainer
Job Summary
A Show Jumping Trainer prepares horses and riders for show jumping competitions by developing technical skills improving performance and ensuring horse welfare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train riders in jumping techniques and competition strategies.
- Develop conditioning programs for horses.
- Assess and improve horse-rider partnerships.
- Organize training sessions and competition preparation.
- Monitor horse fitness health and performance.
- Provide feedback and performance evaluations.
- Maintain a safe and effective training environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in show jumping instruction and competition.
- Strong understanding of equine behaviour and training methods.
- Excellent coaching and communication skills.
- Ability to work with riders of varying skill levels.
