Job Summary
Purpose:
As part of the technical team responsible for ensuring the appropriate cable designs for each project considering OCIs needs and capabilities and the customers needs.
Summary of the Job Role:
- Working on the commercial enquiry (Pre & Post Order).
- Design cables in accordance with the parameters provided by applicable standards customers and OCI.
- To support OCIs strategic goals and department KPI.
Key Deliverables:
PRE ORDER
- Understand the technical requirements of the customer in terms of cable and design the cable as per the project requirements. Analyze the customer needs with respect OCI product range & provide the feedback.
- Support to Commercial team in timely response to customer enquiry with issuing the SAP codes Technical documents like Datasheet (TDS) Cable Drawing (AutoCAD & SolidWorks) and Clarification-deviation sheet.
- Preparation of BOM (Bill of Materials) TDS & verify with specifications fictitious calculation & manufacturing values.
- Preparation of CA Items verify with the specifications design guidelines and manufacturing instructions.
POST ORDER
- Ensure the final item codes special instructions & other technical information are provided as per final approved documents.
DATA BASE
- Review & issue Cable Datasheet Cross-sectional Drawings & BOM in OCI standard format.
- Maintaining commonly asked Clarification & Deviation list. Work of Deviation points to comply for future enquiry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel PPT etc.) AutoCAD & Solid Works.
- Knowledge of Cable design tools.
