Head Cabin Crew Management
Job Summary
We are building a new regional airline in Oman an ATR72-600 operation and need a cabin safety leader to build and lead our cabin crew from the start-up phase.
About the role
As Head of Cabin Crew you supervise and manage our cabin crew within the CAA-approved organisational structure ensuring cabin safety and compliance with CAR OPS-1 Subpart O training and competence requirements. You will own the Cabin Safety Procedures Manual and our cabin crew training and play a key role in our Safety Management System fulfilling the required cabin crew management function under CAR OPS-1.175(t).
What youll do
- Supervise and manage cabin crew and cabin safety within the CAA-approved organisational structure.
- Maintain the approved Cabin Safety Procedures Manual and cabin crew training programmes.
- Plan schedule and facilitate cabin crew training initial conversion recurrent SEP AVSEC DGR first aid and CRM per approved syllabi.
- Maintain cabin crew training records and document control for cabin safety policies briefing cards and scripts.
- Participate in the SMS report investigate and follow up cabin safety occurrences and advise the Authority where needed.
What youll bring
- Extensive experience as senior cabin crew (SCCM / Chief Purser) and in cabin management/safety roles in a commercial airline.
- Excellent knowledge of CAR OPS-1 cabin crew and cabin safety requirements (Subparts O and Q) and Cabin Safety Procedures / Operations Manuals including maintaining them for regulatory approval.
- Experience designing maintaining and overseeing cabin crew training programmes and scheduling per approved syllabi.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate training records and manage document control for cabin safety materials.
- Active SMS experience with an understanding of human factors and fatigue risk and the ability to design compliant cabin crew rosters (Subpart Q).
