Job Summary
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Electrical Engineer Solar PV / Electrical Power in Oman. Our client New Alfa International is seeking skilled and motivated electrical engineering professionals with strong experience in solar PV electrical construction EPC projects and testing & commissioning. Candidates with relevant GCC project exposure are preferred. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.
- Execute electrical construction activities for utility-scale and large rooftop solar PV projects.
- Supervise installation and integration of LV and MV electrical networks in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) electrical layouts cable schedules and related technical documentation.
- Coordinate installation testing and commissioning of solar inverters and associated electrical equipment.
- Conduct electrical inspections functional testing troubleshooting and pre-commissioning checks.
- Ensure site electrical works comply with project specifications quality requirements and applicable safety standards.
- Coordinate with civil mechanical commissioning and project teams to achieve construction milestones.
- Prepare technical reports testing records punch lists and commissioning documentation.
- Solar PV Engineering: Strong practical knowledge of utility-scale or large rooftop solar PV electrical systems.
- LV/MV Networks: Experience with installation testing and commissioning of low- and medium-voltage electrical systems.
- Inverters: Hands-on understanding of solar inverter installation configuration testing and troubleshooting.
- SLD Review: Ability to interpret and review Single Line Diagrams and related electrical engineering drawings.
- Testing & Commissioning: Practical experience carrying out electrical testing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- GCC project experience.
- Experience working in EPC construction environments.
- Exposure to utility-scale solar power plants.
Candidates must have 58 years of experience in electrical construction including a minimum of 3 years in solar PV projects involving utility-scale installations or large rooftop systems. Experience should include LV/MV networks inverters SLD review testing and commissioning. GCC experience is preferred.

Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction materials MEP systems and fit-out specifications. Understanding of project execution strategies and procurement planning. Proficiency in ERP software for procurement tracking and reporting. Hands-on experience in managing LPO cycles (Open & Closed LPOs). Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word Excel). Excellent vendor negotiation and relationship management skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines. Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.
