Job Summary
A Bagpipe Instructor teaches students how to play the bagpipes focusing on musical techniques performance skills music theory and repertoire development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group bagpipe lessons.
- Teach fingering techniques tuning and maintenance.
- Develop lesson plans based on student abilities.
- Prepare students for performances competitions and examinations.
- Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Introduce music theory and traditional repertoire.
- Encourage regular practice and skill development.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in playing bagpipes.
- Teaching or instructional experience preferred.
- Strong communication and motivational skills.
