Summer Internship 2027 Electrolysis Decarbonization, Porsgrunn

Electrolysis decarbonization is working on how to decarbonize our smelters by capturing transporting and storing CO2 produced in the process. Particularly we are looking into where we should store the captured CO2 and how we can optimize the whole value chain.

An internship in Hydro is a great way for you to try out and learn more about your field of study. You will obtain valuable experience and you get to tackle relevant tasks and real challenges with support from experienced colleagues. You will also get to participate in a joint program with all the Hydro summer interns allowing you to learn more about our business and acquire interdisciplinary knowledge. All the while we expect and want you to have a fun experience during the summer.

• Optimizing the value chain and logistics flows.
• Permanent storage.
• Measurements and lab analysis.

• Master study in Logistics Geology Physics or a related field.
• Experience with programming preferably Python or similar tools.
• Proficiency in logistics open-source tools.
