Summer Intern at Ramboll
As a summer intern at Ramboll you will be given responsibility from day one tackle a variety of tasks and help create innovative and sustainable solutions. You will work alongside our consultants and gain valuable insight into our projects working environment and the challenges and opportunities facing the industry. A summer internship at Ramboll will allow you to acquire experience that makes you an attractive candidate in the job market and to build a professional network in the engineering sector.
Start date is agreed with your immediate manager and the position includes 34 weeks of holiday.
Your new role
You will be part of the Transformation & Public Buildings East department and the HVAC Engineering section. As a summer intern in the HVAC Engineering section you will have the opportunity to join a highly skilled professional environment specialising in refurbishment renovation and extensions (RRE) as well as public buildings.
The section works closely with other engineering disciplines and contributes to integrated project delivery on some of Norways most exciting construction projects ranging from smaller renovation projects to major refurbishment developments and large public building projects.
The department consists of four technical sections that collaborate on multidisciplinary projects while also delivering their own specialist addition to the HVAC Engineering section the department includes sections for Electrical Engineering Structural Engineering and Project Management.
We deliver projects from concept development through to completion and we place great value on professional development and collaboration.

During the summer you will take part in:
- Design and calculation of HVAC systems (ventilation and piping)
- Modelling of HVAC systems in MagiCAD for Revit
- Assist in the preparation of technical drawings calculation notes and construction documentation
About you
- You are in your 3rd or 4th year of HVAC Engineering.
- You are responsible and solution-oriented
- You have strong communication skills and the ability to contribute effectively to multidisciplinary teams
- You have a strong interest in professional development and continuous improvement
We do not expect you to know everything but we do expect you to be curious take responsibility and be committed to delivering quality. Because we live by our clients we also expect strong communication and collaboration skills.
