This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who enjoys combining technical leadership supplier management engineering and project execution. You will act as the technical authority for valve packages working closely with clients suppliers yards and multidisciplinary engineering teams from tender through installation and testing.

Work across both tender and project execution phases.
Collaborate directly with international clients and suppliers.
Lead technical decisions on complex subsea systems.
Influence cost quality schedule and technical risk.
Work alongside experienced multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Exposure to supplier facilities yards testing and installation activities.
Define valve technical requirements specifications and selection strategies.
Act as the technical authority for valve-related decisions.
Lead technical clarifications with suppliers during tender and pre-PO phases.
Evaluate supplier capabilities qualifications and execution readiness.
Review and approve supplier documentation designs and deviations.
Drive valve scope through engineering procurement manufacturing and testing.
Lead and participate in design reviews and ensure integration with the overall subsea system.
Monitor supplier performance against quality cost and schedule requirements.
Serve as the primary technical contact for valve scope with clients.
Coordinate with systems engineering procurement materials installation and project teams.
Manage communication between suppliers yards and project execution teams.
Maintain ownership of valve scope including technical risks and cost impacts.
Identify and mitigate technical risks affecting project delivery.
Provide technical status updates and reporting to project management.
Support installation and integration of valve-containing systems.
Mentor and support junior engineers.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company procedures.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in subsea or offshore engineering.
Proven experience within the Oil & Gas subsea industry.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with valve systems for subsea topside or onshore applications.
Experience with valve design selection actuation and sealing technologies.
Knowledge of materials selection stress and friction behaviour.
Strong understanding of relevant industry standards including API ISO and NORSOK.
Experience working across both tender/pre-PO and project execution phases.
Strong supplier management and technical clarification experience.
Good understanding of ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
Experience with CREO CAD and Siemens Teamcenter is an advantage.
Strong engineering judgement and decision-making skills.
Ability to independently lead a technical scope within complex projects.
Strong English communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and suppliers.
Structured systematic and proactive approach to work.
Good commercial awareness including cost schedule and risk considerations.
Ability to mentor and support less experienced engineers.
