Job Summary
In the Software Engineering Excellence (TDD) unit we are passionate about building great software and empowering digital innovation at scale. Our teams work across software engineering platform engineering data services and technical excellence collaborating with business and technology experts throughout Statkraft. Together we develop the digital products and platforms that help drive the energy transition while creating lasting value for one of Europes leading renewable energy companies.
The CDC team develops solutions for Nordic central dispatch which sells power into the Nordic markets 24/7. Most of Statkrafts revenue is generated from these sales so it is extremely critical that these business teams have reliable and stable IT solutions. They also generate the production plans for the powerplants which are essential to keeping the power system in Norway in balance.
We develop web based solutions for this critical area and React/ this role you will:
- Work as part of a team developing web applications and APIs for our internal business users
- Be an active participant in technical decisions
- Be a business partner that works closely with the business and understands their processes and needs to help maximize the business value of the solutions we develop
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Several years software development experience
- Very good knowledge of and experience development
- Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and frontend frameworks
Soft skills:
- Good social and communication skills
- Fluent in English and preferably Norwegian
- Pro-active team player who feels responsible and enjoys challenging themselves
- Have a drive for excellence
Other useful skills:
- Experience with SQL and ORM-frameworks
- Experience with test frameworks
- Preferably some experience with containers and/or Kubernetes
