Job Summary

Are you our new Learning & Development Manager

You will have the overall responsibility for accreditations quality assurance and the continuous development and innovation of courses and deliveries. The role owns the end-to-end product lifecycle driving alignment with Maersk Trainings strategic objectives while strengthening the regional product close collaboration with regional and global commercial operations and HSEQ teams the position standardizes scales and optimizes learning products to improve efficiency profitability and market relevance while raising competence and quality across all deliveries in Norway. This role will be reporting to the Managing Director of Norway.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the Norway product strategy aligned with global objectives and regional market needs.

  • Lead the full product lifecycle including portfolio development innovation and continuous improvement of courses and delivery formats.

  • Maintain a standardized scalable and competitive product portfolio.

  • Ensure all deliveries comply with internal requirements and external regulations (e.g. Offshore Norge Norwegian Maritime Authority).

  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement them across the organization.

  • Coordinate and quality assure all learning content (course plans manuals and materials).

  • Drive product development updates and digital innovation through a clear regional roadmap.

  • Collaborate with SMEs Operations Commercial Marketing and HSEQ to deliver efficiently.

  • Establish and improve standards and best practices for product development and delivery.

  • Build and develop internal competence and act as a regional product expert.

  • Support Commercial and Operations with market insights and contribute to tenders.

  • Work with customers suppliers and SMEs to adapt solutions to business and technology needs.

  • Lead key projects and initiatives related to competence and portfolio development.

  • Represent the organization in audits accreditations and industry forums.

  • Support the business with other relevant tasks as required.

We are looking for

  • Strong cooperative pedagogical and communicative qualifications.

  • Insight into Norwegian offshore and Maritime legislation.

  • Experience from the maritime and oil & gas sectors.

  • Possesses commercial acumen and understands customer needs

  • Thrives at industry exhibitions and within development environments

  • Has energy and enthusiasm for digital development and new solutions.

  • Secure innovation momentum
