Your new role

As our new Project Manager you will work closely with Clients and external stakeholders as well as internal technical leads to support the planning execution and delivery of power systems projects across our growing portfolio. This is a role for someone with excellent communications skills proactive mindset and understanding of electrical engineering eager to continue growing in project ownership and comfortable operating in a fast-paced client-facing environment.

As a department within a large global multidisciplinary consulting firm we greatly benefit from the extensive interdisciplinary network that Rambøll offers.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Leading multidisciplinary project teams including both local and global experts to deliver high-quality HV design and engineering solutions
  • Acting as a key client interfaceensuring clear scope understanding safeguarding client interests and building long-term partnerships
  • Overseeing tendering activities contract negotiations and stakeholder management
  • Coordinating with other business areas (e.g. buildings transport environment water management consulting) to ensure integrated cost-effective and reliable solutions
  • Managing technical and commercial aspects of projects in a dynamic environment ensuring alignment with schedules and budgets
  • Mentoring and developing junior engineers fostering collaboration and a positive work environment across borders
  • Supporting site and field activities including follow-up and quality assurance

About you

  • A degree in electrical engineering energy engineering power systems engineering or related field.
  • Background from the Energy industry role with strong recent experience in a Project Management position
  • Demonstrated leadership communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to collaborate across countries and disciplines
  • Experience in client-facing roles with a track record of building trust and delivering value
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with project management tools
  • Proficiency in Norwegian and English both written and spoken
  • Project management certification (e.g. PMI) is an advantage but not required
  • Commitment to mentoring knowledge sharing and supporting the professional growth of colleagues
