WELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM
As a Logistic Operator you will join our Land Installation Logistics team within PWR Transmission supporting some of the worlds most advanced power cable installation projects. The department operates internationally with offices workshops and warehouses located in Halden (Norway) Bourg-en-Bresse (France) Charleroi (Belgium) and Hannover (Germany).
The team is responsible for ensuring that projects are supplied with the necessary tools equipment and consumables required to execute installation work safely and addition the department supports our production facilities in Halden Futtsu and Charleston by supplying critical materials used for cable jointing and termination.
You will be part of a hands-on operational team responsible for warehouse activities equipment handling maintenance return logistics and internal production support. The position is based in Halden Norway and reports directly to the Logistic Manager. You will work closely with logistics coordinators project teams purchasing teams and colleagues across multiple international locations.
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
In this role you will play an important part in ensuring efficient logistics operations that directly support project execution and factory operations globally. Your responsibilities will include handling warehouse operations and material flow while ensuring safety quality and operational excellence.
Your main responsibilities include:
Picking and packing equipment tools and consumables based on project and operational needs
Registering materials leaving and returning to the warehouse
Ensuring smooth and efficient order flow throughout the department
Using SAP as a daily tool for warehouse and logistics management
Supporting return logistics and ensuring internal procedures are followed
Producing project-related equipment and supporting maintenance activities when required
Verifying that dispatched tools and safety equipment have valid certifications
Planning and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
Collaborating closely with logistics coordinators project teams and internal stakeholders
Reporting progress delays deviations and completion status on assigned tasks
Contributing actively to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
Participating in knowledge sharing training and competence development activities
Maintaining a safe clean and organized work environment in line with company procedures

YOUR STARTING POINT

Background within logistics warehouse operations mechanical or technical disciplines
Experience working within industrial production or manufacturing environments
Valid forklift license (Truckførerbevis)
Experience working with SAP or similar warehouse management systems is an advantage
Practical and hands-on technical understanding
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with colleagues
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Structured reliable and proactive approach to daily work
Fluent in English oral and written
