Skretting is looking for a curious and collaborativeGlobal Product & Technical MarketingManagerSalmonto join our Salmon Innovation Team.In this role you will work together with colleagues across innovation R&D marketing and our operating companies to develop and strengthen Skrettings salmon product portfolio and market propositions. You will helpidentifycustomer and market needs contribute to the development ofnew solutions and support the successful implementation of products and concepts across our global salmon business.
You will be part of a highly experienced team that supports salmon businesses in Norway Chile Canada the US Australia Japan and China.Therole offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of science innovation and commercial development while building a broad international network across Skretting.
The position reports to the Innovation Director Salmon and is based at Skrettings headquarters in Stavanger Norway.
Key tasks and responsibilities
As part of the Salmon Innovation Team you will:
Identify customer needs market trends and growth opportunities within the salmon segment.
Collaborate with R&D colleagues andinternalexperts to develop new products services and concepts.
Support innovation projects as they move through the development pipeline toward commercial launch.
Work closely with operating companies to understand local business needs and supportimplementationofnew solutions.
Contribute technical and market knowledge to product development initiatives.
Assistin developing product specifications value propositions and supporting marketing materials.
Support communication and knowledge sharing across Skrettings global salmon network.
Helpmonitorindustry developments competitor activities and relevant regulatory changes.
Participate in customer meetings industry events and conferences when relevant.
Contribute to an open collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture within the Innovation Team.
What we are looking for
We are looking foraperson that canthink strategically with a long-term perspective while effectively balancing short-term operational needs.Youenjoy combining scientific understanding with commercial thinking andismotivated by working with others to create value for customers.
You may come from a background in aquaculture innovation product management marketing or a related field. Most importantly you are curious collaborative and interested in translating ideas and opportunities into practical solutions.
You enjoy working across functions and cultures building relationships and helping move projects forward. You communicate clearly are self-drivenandtake initiative when needed.
