The Baker Hughes Summe Trainee role is designed to enable students to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. Our Summer Trainee role will give you first-hand insights into the processes systems and practices that are aligned to ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of leading-edge technology.

Youll participate in focused training and team meetings work on projects and present your results. During your programme you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure you have a valuable learning experience. You can expect to receive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset.

As a Summer Trainee you will be responsible for and (not limited to the following tasks:
- Identifying suppliers with incorrect or missing contact information.
- Checking supplier address and contact details for accuracy.
- Obtaining and validating the correct supplier information.
- Updating the vendor master file with supplier contact information.
- Supporting payment terms checks.
- Assisting with statement of account activities.
- Uploading contracts and maintaining accurate documentation
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be a current university student in Finance Accounting Business or a related field with exposure to Accounts Payable or relevant coursework
- Be proactive accurate collaborative and responsible.
- Have strong written and spoken communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
- Demonstrate an analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and identify solutions.
- Be a good team player with strong communication skills.
- Be legally able to work in Norway without company sponsorship or time restriction.
- Be well organized and able to follow up on tasks in a timely manner.
