The Baker Hughes Summer Trainee Program is designed to give students and recent graduates hands-on work experience that helps build the foundation for their professional this role you will gain first-hand insight into the processes systems and practices that support strong execution and help meet business and customer needs through effective materials management and operational support.

As a Summer Trainee you will participate in focused training team meetings and project-based work and you will have the opportunity to present your results. Throughout the programme you will be supported by a buddy and your manager to ensure you have a valuable learning experience. You can also expect coaching and mentoring to help you complete assignments and continue developing your skills.
You will also have the opportunity to become familiar with Baker Hughes Health Safety and Environment (HS&E) standards and culture as well as the companys strong commitment to diversity equity and inclusion.
As a Summer Trainee you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the team with general administrative tasks and day-to-day office support.
- Updating records and maintaining accurate information in line with team requirements.
- Assisting with standard office activities and learning how administrative processes support day-to-day operations.
- Providing support to the team with structured administrative work and ad hoc assistance where needed.
- Supporting the review and maintenance of records and related documentation.
- Participating in team meetings projects and other operational support activities as assigned.
- Contributing to an organized efficient and collaborative working environment.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Be a university student or early-career candidate looking to gain practical administrative experience
- Be a structured and bright individual who can quickly adapt to administrative tasks and team support activities
- Be motivated proactive and eager to learn
- Have standard Microsoft Office skills including Excel
- Be interested in learning more and gaining practical experience in an administrative support role
- Be a good team player with strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian
- Be comfortable working in a structured office environment and supporting record updates and administrative processes
- Be able to legally work in Norway without company sponsorship or time restriction
