Emergency Slaughterman Mobile Slaughter Operator (Rogaland)

We are looking for an experienced Emergency Slaughterman / Mobile Slaughter Operator to join one of our clients in Rogaland.

This is a specialised role for someone confident working independently attending farms when required carrying out slaughter procedures professionally and transporting the animal afterwards to the factory.

A strong practical mindset responsibility and calmness under pressure are important for this position.

Main tasks

• Attend farms when emergency slaughter is required

• Carry out slaughter procedures professionally safely and in line with regulations

• Handle animals respectfully and according to welfare standards

• Transport the animal afterwards to the factory site

• Complete relevant documentation if required

• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of vehicle/equipment

• Represent the company professionally when dealing with farmers and external contacts

What we are looking for

• Previous slaughterhouse experience

• Experience handling cattle or livestock confidently

• Able to work independently and make sound decisions

• Calm practical and reliable personality

• Driving licence class C minimum

• Spoken English required

• EU / EEA passport or valid right to work in Europe

• Strong understanding of hygiene safety and animal welfare standards

Why this role is different

This is not a standard factory-based slaughter role.
