Join DOF as a Document Controller!
We are looking for several experienced Document Controllers to strengthen and further develop our team and contribute to our success.
As a Document Controller you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient document control and information management within our Atlantic region. Reporting to our Lead Document Controller in Norway you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Project Technical Managers within the region.
In this role some of your main responsibilities will be to assist the Lead Document Controller in managing and supporting the Document Control requirements in the Atlantic Region. You will use different systems such as ProArc and Unisea as well as providing training for new users in these. Analyzing the clients requirements to execute the project and organize activities in line with project administrative requirements will also be an important part of your job.
Together with the Project Technical Manager you will define specific instructions to Engineering Disciplines and other participants regarding the documentation to be supplied to the Client and the documentation to be obtained from Vendors Suppliers and Subcontractors.
Requirements
- Relevant university degree in business administration economy management or similar. Experience can compensate for lack of formal education
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience handling documentation for marine operations is preferred
- Proficient in Proarc or similar document management systems and Microsoft applications such as Word Excel PowerPoint and Project
- Ability to work structured with an eye for details
- Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with project teams and other stakeholders
- Experience from or interest in the the offshore/subsea sector
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)

Security assessment
For this position DOF Subsea Norway will conduct an assessment of the applicants security suitability including affiliations to high-risk countries and a background check. High-risk countries are defined as those that according to the Norwegian Police Security Service (PST) are considered to pose a threat to Norways national security note that the outcome of such assessments may affect the recruitment process and the possibility of employment.
According to Norwegian security authorities candidates with affiliation to high-risk countries may pose a potential security risk because they are more vulnerable to being exploited and/or recruited by state threat actors. The assessment of affiliation to high-risk countries is carried out by asking all applicants to answer questions designed to identify any affiliation with high-risk countries. If the candidate proceeds further in the recruitment process additional mapping questions will be sent in order to assess the degree of affiliation with the high-risk country.
The affiliation assessment is based on non-discriminatory criteria and does not involve any differential treatment based on ethnicity or other protected characteristics. The assessment will focus on how closely the candidate is affiliated with the country through factors such as citizenship family relationships financial relationships or other affiliations. The assessment of affiliation to high-risk countries forms part of an overall assessment of the candidates security suitability.
