Assignment Description

Are you an experienced Commissioning Engineer with a background in electrical and instrumentation systems Join a long-term Maintenance & Modification project in Stavanger where you will support the planning preparation and execution of commissioning activities.

In this role you will work closely with engineering disciplines vendors and offshore teams to define commissioning scope prepare documentation support FAT activities and ensure structured and efficient system handover.

What Youll Do
  • Define system boundaries and prepare boundary drawings

  • Develop and write commissioning procedures

  • Define and maintain commissioning scope within PCS

  • Prepare job cards and handover dossiers

  • Provide input to FAT procedures and participate in FAT at vendor locations

  • Interface with offshore teams and participate in meetings when required

  • Provide input to project plans and maintain commissioning-related updates

  • Support coordination between engineering commissioning vendors and offshore personnel

  • Contribute to safe structured and efficient commissioning and system handover

Who You Are
  • Skilled worker certificate (fagbrev) or Bachelors degree within a relevant technical discipline

  • Relevant commissioning experience

  • Background within electrical and/or instrumentation

  • Experience from offshore projects or operations is strongly preferred

  • Knowledge and experience with SAS (Safety and Automation Systems)

  • Experience from the oil & gas industry preferably Maintenance & Modification projects

  • Experience with commissioning documentation job cards and system handover

  • Familiarity with FAT activities and vendor follow-up

  • Experience with MIPS

  • Valid offshore certification

  • Proactive and improvement-oriented approach to work

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in multidisciplinary teams

  • Fluent in Norwegian and English
